"When living close to the beach in Boston Jay B.Jay, dedicated to his wife and newly born daughter, developed two dreams: to own a peaceful home on the seaside and to make music for a living. With a friend he built and managed probably the most advanced and best equipped recording studio in Israel only to find out that the music and recording business kept him from what he wanted to do the most: compose and play music himself. He decided to leave the studio management and return to his musical
roots still remembering and working on his second dream, the home on the beach. So this album, Over Seas, came totally natural to him and all the compositions reflect Jay's feelings towards the sea: love, respect, admiration and care for the abundant lifeforms that the oceans of the world have given to us." / Bernd Labetzsch
