Move Away

When I became a teenager I started dreaming of moving out, getting my own place in a bigger city and living by my own rules. Well, now I’m doing just that, and while it is mostly great there are downsides to everything. Moving three hours away from everyone you know is bound to impact how often you can see the people that you love. For the most part, I don’t necessarily miss my hometown much, but during summer I do. I see and feel every little difference, and I long for even the small things, and I keep wondering if the people at home ever think of me., the way that I think of them.
