Perfect for desktop mic stands! Manfrotto 172 Mini counterweight 1.3kg

Other cheaper desktop mic stand is the one I briefly showed in the video: Roadworx Desk stand

It has a big rectangular shape base with foam at the bottom (for noise dampening). It's sturdy but occupies a large space. I wanted to have a round base desktop mic stand for space reasons but encountered "the tilt" when trying to push the mic forward. I'm using a Shure Mv7 so it's a not relatively a light mic.

The counterweight has a perfect weight to it and makes the stand stable.

I found a video in YT searching for counterweight alternatives and found a guy that 3D printed a counterweight box and filled it with pennies... I don't have a 3D printer so good thing I saw this in Thomann.
