According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. HCA Florida Englewood Hospital presented a check for $10,215 to the American Heart Association in support of cardiovascular disease and stroke research, public health and access to lifesaving resources.

Steve Young, CEO shared, "We've had a phenomenal partnership for many years. Our organizations share a goal to prevent, treat and beat cardiovascular disease and stroke. It is our honor to provide support that will empower communities with education about the risks, screenings and treatments for heart disease and stroke to improve health outcomes.
