On May 31, Kukis and other Tribal communities of Manipur organised a Tribal Solidarity Protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi against the BJP government and CM N. Biren Singh in Manipur. The protestors also gave tribute to the tribal people who died in the recent clashes between tribal and non-tribal communities in the state. The protestors demanded instant President’s Rule in the state and a separate administration for the tribal community as the violence continues in the state.
