Karl Mayrhofer is an IT professional and has been working for Fabasoft for more than 15 years, being responsible for Enterprise Content Management, e-Government, Compliance and Information Governance solutions. He is one of the Managing Directors of Fabasoft Distribution GmbH and together with Andreas Dangl heads the business unit "Fabasoft Folio".

Karl Mayrhofer is a certified Scrum Product Owner and has been implementing agile projects with the Scrum project management method for many years. As a Fabasoft Product Owner he successfully completed the first worldwide software certification in accordance with the new European MoReq2 standard for Fabasoft Folio. He was also significantly involved in large-scale Fabasoft projects, introducing e-Government solutions to administrations such as the Austrian public administration and the Swiss federal administration. Being the Fabasoft Folio Product Marketing Owner, he is also responsible for the global marketing of the products Fabasoft Folio and Fabasoft Folio Cloud.

Karl Mayrhofer is a member of the European MoReq Governance Board that coordinates the development of MoReq2 on behalf of the DLM Forum and the European Commission, and he is a Senator in the European Economic Senate (EES).
