Sadly a few days later I broke this rod trying to unsnag it from my fabric car seat. Total bummer. I really liked this rod and may get another one at some point. It was really well suited for fishing banks with lots of cover due to it`s length. Super light and accurate with nice hefty cork grips.
It casts light lures really well and the moderate action is very forgiving even on larger fish. 2 piece construction makes it easy to pack for traveling.
Definitely recommend the Fenwick Eagle 5 ft 6 ultralight rod.
I paired in with a Pflueger President 20 size reel. Seemed like they were made for each other.
