Drumstick is an amazing vegetable that is greatly valued for overall health benefits.
Moringa obtains its name from the Tamil word, murungai, denotes twisted pod. This humble vegetable is used extensively in Indian culinary dishes for more than a hundred years.

Nutritional value of drumstick-
Drumstick pods and leaves are a storehouse of essential nutrients, whereas the leaves are the most nutrient part of the plant and one of the finest sources of calcium, iron, zinc, selenium and magnesium.  Fresh pods and seeds are a great source of oleic acid, a healthy fatty acid which is known to promote heart health.

Ingredients for Drumstick Soup Recipe:
🌿Water-1 & half cup
🌿Drumsticks(chopped)- 150 gms
🌿Ginger slice -2 inches
🌿Rock Salt-1 tspn
🌿Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn

For tempering-
🌿Ghee-1 tspn
🌿Jeera-1 tspn
🌿Hing - 1/4 tspn

🌿Black pepper-1/2 tspn
🌿Lemon juice- 2 tspn

👉Boil the Drumstick pods in water till they are well cooked,
👉Once cooked well,close the gas flame,
👉Add salt & Turmeric to the boiled drumsticks,
👉Then grind the Drumstick pods in a mixer grinder or hand grinder and strain out the pulp using a strainer.
👉Then add tadka(tempering) using hot ghee,jeera & Hing
👉After tadka,add little bit of black pepper and stir the soup to mix everything well together,
👉Then serve the soup in a bowl & Squeeze half a lemon juice just right before serving
✅Note : lemon juice should always be served or used fresh,So add the lemon juice right before you are going to consume the soup✅✅
👉Garnish the soup with Moringa leaf
👉Sip & Enjoy
