HOKA Fanboys unite!

These Kaha Gore-Tex hiking boots are epic. Waterproof, comfortable, and made out of leather and even some recycled materials (the Kaha 2's).

The HOKA Kaha (in conjunction with the HOKA ORA Recovery Flips) straight up fixed my feet. The Kaha have a 6mm drop, high ankle support, and maximum cushion - just what my plantar fasciitis needs in a boot. It's been a long term solution to a foot problem I've dealt with for years.

On top of this, they are by far the plushest hiking boots I've ever owned - and have replaced all my regular shoes, running shoes, casual shoes, etc. There is also a Hoka Kaha (and Kaha 2) GTX low top version as well, that's almost as good.
