Woodland Photography: Photographing Ancient Oak Trees in the Mist

I've been really enjoying woodland photography over the past few months, and I'm fortunate to live right next to one of the best examples of ancient woodland in Oxfordshire. Since my first visit to this woodland a few months ago, I've had my eye on a particular ancient oak tree and have been waiting for the right misty conditions to photograph it. Last week, the mist came into the woods again and conditions were just right to photograph this ancient tree at its best.
