Overhauled classic Kyosho/Graupner Baja Body's big day out.

Back to the 80's with the Kyosho/Graupner Baja Body.

Here's a very short compilation of my classic buggy going offroad. The rear repro tyres are softer than the originals and very grippy. The new gears are definitely a lot quieter and produce less friction.
The clutch is a bit of a dissapointment though, a better one will be made and installed in the near future.
The engine is performing very well and sufficient. It's not a powerhouse but the buggy has been retired from racing a long time ago.
This afternoon was time well spent and now i finaly have this buggy going offroad on video (last time i drove it offroad, there wasn't such a thing as the internet and i didn't have a camera).
It's great to be able to show this classic buggy on the world wide web, so i hope you enjoy it!
The specifications:


Car: Kyosho (Graupner) Baja Body.
Engine: Restored Veco .21 from 1983.
Chassis: Twin beam at the front and twin vertical stainless steel plates at the rear.
Suspension: Front and rear trailing arms.
Clutch: Homemade with original springs.
Drumbrake with homemade brake pad.
Ball differential.
Production year: 1983.
