Good news for South African motorists! The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has announced a price drop for fuel in November 2023. Here's what you need to know:
Petrol prices are decreasing by 51 cents per litre for both 93 and 95 grades.
Diesel prices are also dropping, with a 21-cent decrease for 0.05% sulphur diesel and a 19-cent reduction for 0.005% diesel.
Illuminating paraffin sees a 1-cent price drop.
These reductions are due to the strengthening rand against the US dollar and lower international fuel prices. The average exchange rate for the period was R17.29 to the dollar.

Inland: 93 (R20.97), 95 (R21.12), Diesel 0.05% (R19.13), Diesel 0.005% (R19.20)
Coast: 93 (R20.18), 95 (R20.29), Diesel 0.05% (R18.30), Diesel 0.005% (R18.44)
