GAO Director Karen Howard testified on June 26, 2025, before the House Committee on Natural Resources, Subcommittee on Federal Lands regarding key technologies currently used in wildfire management. These include satellites, aircraft, drones, cameras, and air sensors. This testimony also provides information on the benefits and limitations of AI tools to enhance use of these technologies.
