Dry run of an engineered plastic deflash and secondary operations cell. This system consists of a self contained Fanuc M10 6-axis robot with a multifunctional EOAT used to deflash plastic parts, which removes any flash attached following the mold process. This process is a key step in the finishing of injection and pressure molded parts. The drawer design keeps the operator out of harms way, containing all dust and debris, and optimizes robot downtime by processing one part while the other is being loaded and unloaded.
