This is the scary moment a huge avalanche barrels down a mountain and slams into a train travelling through the Swiss Alps.

The train was near Zermatt, a ski resort in southern Switzerland’s Valais canton, when the avalanche struck.

Kirsten Osborne, who captured the video, said passengers were stuck “for two hours before rescue and provided bus transport to safety".
