According to our Moroccan tour guide, the Hercules Cave in Tangiers has 2,000 years of history. Phoenician tombs have been found in the cave, suggesting that they've utilized the area as a trading post. One thing I've immediately noticed upon entering the cave is a big drop in temperature of about 20 degrees Fahrenheit, thus providing instant relief from the hot summer sun.
