SCRIPT

Montage of early morning scenes, before dawn:
Chinese Mom: "Hi Sweetie, it's time to wake up.
American Mom: "Time to get up, baby.
British Mom: "Come on. Up you get."
Brazilian Mom: "Come on. I'll make you breakfast."

Montage of the young athletes practicing as their mothers wait patiently.

Montage of the same young athletes playing and exercising as their mothers do house chores.

Montage of the same athletes, now teenagers, as their mothers take them to practices, cheer, and tend to their injuries and disappointments.

Montage of flashbacks interspersed with the same athletes, now young adults, competing at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The winning American Gymnast rushes to hug her Mom, now middle-aged, whose face expresses a mixture of extreme relief and joy.

The successful Chinese swimmer waves and blows a kiss towards her Mom, now middle-aged, who nods back with reserved, but clearly overwhelming, pride.

The triumphant British sprinter falls to his knees as he looks towards the audience where his exuberant Mom, now middle-aged, shares her son's transcendent joy.

The celebrating Brazilian volleyball player moves past other well-wishers to hug his Mom, now middle-aged, as they share beaming smiles and embrace.
