The MSC Elenoire had sailed from Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia with a record breaking draught of 17.1 metres. This would break the previous record held by the MSC Lorenza earlier this year by 10cm.

Due to MSC Elenoire's exceptional deep draught, she had restricted maneuverability and could only go starboard side Felixstowe Berth 9 with the assistance of 4 Svitzer tugs.
