Описание к видео Generator + Radiator + Resonator (the 3 basic parts of a musical instrument)

During the Spring 2021 semester, I'm teaching a graduate course on the Acoustics of Musical Instruments from my home during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am creating a number of video demonstrations to illustrate some of the concepts that we will be discussing in detail (using lots of fun physics and math) in our lectures. In this video, I perform a simple demonstration of the three basic parts of a musical instrument: the Generator (oscillating energy input), the Resonator (standing waves in a pipe, string, membrane, or bar), and the Radiator (allows sound energy to leave the instrument, like a bell or soundboard).
