🎮 Healing Through Gaming | CPTSD Mental Health Journey & Exposure Therapy
Welcome to the start of a powerful new journey. In this video, I share how I’m using video games as a supportive tool for mental health therapy, specifically for CPTSD (Complex PTSD). As a brand-new gamer, I’m learning to navigate gaming while also navigating anxiety, depression, dissociation, executive dysfunction, low self-worth, and other symptoms of CPTSD.
Gaming has become a form of exposure therapy, helping me rebuild confidence, stay grounded, improve focus, and reconnect with joy. If you’re living with CPTSD or other mental health challenges, I hope this space feels safe, validating, and relatable.
