[MTA NYC Subway - IND Second Avenue Line]: Here's a clip in one of the brand new IND SAS Line. The first phase and finally rolling after decades of delays and suspensions, finally makes a reality. The (Q) was extended from W. 57th Street to E. 96th Street - 2nd Ave. This clip shows the (Q) train rolling in/out of East 96th Street, E. 86th Street, E. 72nd Street and E. 63rd Street (Lex Ave). The wrapped set was a part of the first two trains to start SAS service at 12PM on Jan 1, 2017.


Note: This is the first Phase of the line. The second Phase to E. 125th Street - Lexington Avenue is still being worked on to begin construction within the next 2 years. Phase 3 / 4 which introduces the (T) Line to Lower Manhattan isn't on the table yet and probably won't make its way until after Phase 2 is completed. (Supposedly targeted in the 2020s. Subject to change).
