Dear God,
We come before you today, seeking your compassion and direction as we strive for greater self-love and kindness. We beg that you assist us in seeing ourselves through your eyes and embracing the unique and lovely creatures that we are.
We admit that we have moments of self-doubt and self-criticism. We can be our own harshest critics, and negative self-talk can prevent us from living fully and joyfully. We beg for your healing touch and transformative power to help us break free from these thought and behavior patterns.
We ask for the gift of self-love and the ability to see ourselves as you see us. May we perceive the kindness, beauty, and potential that you have placed inside us, and may we embrace these traits with thankfulness and joy.
Please give us the gift of self-compassion and assist us to be kind and compassionate with ourselves when we make errors or fall short of our goals. May we be forgiving and patient with ourselves, and may we learn to treat ourselves with the same compassion and understanding that we extend to others.
We pray for the gift of self-acceptance and the ability to accept all aspects of ourselves, both positive and negative. May we see our flaws and defects as chances for growth and transformation, and may we embrace our skills and talents with humility and thankfulness.
We seek your advice as we strive for more self-love and kindness. Help us create self-care habits like as exercise, meditation, and healthy food that enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. May we also make time for rest, relaxation, and enjoyment, and may we enjoy life's basic pleasures.
Finally, we ask for the gift of selflessness, as well as the ability to express love and kindness to others without expectation of reward or praise. May your love inspire us, and may we give it freely and abundantly with others around us.
All of this we pray in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, who taught us to love others as we love ourselves and to recognize the divine spark within all individuals, including ourselves.
