After his death, his loved ones refused to accept his dead body, accusing him of marrying an Indonesian woman in Kuwait.

His uncle, Lal Hussain Bhatti, pressured the family to reject the body and only demanded money instead. Despite the truth being denied, fellow expatriates in Kuwait performed his funeral and buried him there.

A man who sacrificed his whole life for his family was ultimately denied even two yards of land in his own homeland. A tragedy that reflects the pain of many expatriates who dedicate their lives abroad.
