Babe is the first track from the second side of Michael Chapman's 1979 studio album "Life On The Ceiling" featuring, among others, Phil Palmer on guitar, Dave Mattacks on drums and percussion and Lesley Duncan sharing the vocals.

I must apologise for some scratchiness in the recording.

Lesley's voice is simply beautiful, a genuine evocation of other years for many a middle-​aged teenager. It will be a treasured re­minder of her for many years to come for all those who were close to her along with those of us who, sadly, only knew her through her music.

Lesley died on March 12th 2010 at the age of 66 after a long illness.
