How do the GTX 1060 9 Gbps, the RX 580 and the R9 390X stack up in Capcom's upcoming survival horror game? Everyone can have a taste of Resident Evil 2 before the official full release of the game with the time-limited 1-Shot Demo.

Once again, the cut-scene heavy early part of RE2 was benchmarked with Graphics Priority preset and 1440p resolution. AMD Radeon GPUs really feel at home in Resident Evil 2 as both the Hawaii and the Polaris chip can easily get the better of the mid-range Pascal die.

A dedicated recording PC with a capture card was used to save the game footages and consequently no performance penalty was incurred on the reviewed systems. For convenience, games are installed on an external SSD and connected to the reviewed PC via USB3.1 interface.
