Have you ever noticed that abandoned track at Myrtle Avenue Broadway and thought or wondered something like, “What was that track used for?” Well that track used to be the extension of the Myrtle Avenue El that extended to jay street and Adams street. It was used for the MJ train that ran from Metropolitan Avenue in Queens, to Jay Street-Borough Hall in Brooklyn.
