Fervent prayers for your husband offers a multitude of grace and blessings. As the head of the family, husbands need to have the strength to carry responsibilities and commitments. Seeking help from the Holy Spirit to provide our husbands with wisdom to help us solve life’s challenges is truly critical. Although our husband is the head of the family, it is not good for him to carry the load alone. This is why God gave him a wife to be able to carry out His will and purpose. The wife should constantly ask God to guide her husband regardless of whether the situation calls for rejoicing or mourning.

Meditating on God’s word and praying to God are essential to marriage and family. One of the sweetest prayers that a wife can utter is to ask the Lord to make the thoughts of her husband come into alignment with Jesus’ thoughts. That the heart of her husband beats at the same rhythm as that of Jesus Christ. And that the presence of her husband becomes a reminder that God is indeed with her. When we start to see and feel that our husbands have become more and more like Jesus, our respect for him increases automatically.

Husbands should be filled with joy and happiness while fulfilling their purpose as the provider of the family. God knows that it is not good for the man to be alone and so God created a helper that is suitable for him, and that is his wife (Genesis 2:18). There are many ways in which we can provide help to our husbands and one of the best help we can give them is through prayers and intercessions. The Lord has made the husband and wife become one flesh, and so we can say that the husband can not find better intercessor than his wife.

Praying for our husband’s body parts is essential. We need to pray to God that the bodies of our husbands become healthy vessels and instruments to advance the Kingdom of God. Our body parts play a very crucial role in reading, studying, proclaiming, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our prayers should give more strength and encouragement to our husbands. Praying for his body parts should help him gain more strength, wisdom, and courage to press forward and fulfill his Christian privileges.

Believe in the power of prayer for we have a God who hears us. We are confident enough that Jesus hears our prayers and that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us (1 John 5:14). Remember to pray for your husband every day and remember that whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith (Matthew 21:22).
