Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. The story of the Dundalk 1916 Volunteers who marched from the town to Tyrellstown and some even made it to the GPO. Like other areas of the country, the Eoin McNeill countermanding order was to have a detrimental effect on the national plans for the Rising outside of Dublin. This film features the stories of Arthur Greene, Donal O'Hannigan, Hugh Kearney, James McGuill, Sean Mac Entee, and James Dunne.

Easter Rising Stories is a series of films by independent film maker Marcus Howard. The videos are not for profit but for educational purposes. The aim of the series is to capture the recollections of relatives of the Easter Rising of 1916 as well as to document events and stories relating to the Easter Rising.
