STAN LEE'S SOAPBOX - ROY THOMAS

A long time ago (1975-76) I worked with Stan Lee producing a series of TV shows for Manhattan Cable called STAN LEE'S SOAP BOX. We made about a dozen shows or more, with interviews of Harvey Kurtzman, Al Jaffee, Roy Thomas, Big John Buscema, Johnny Romita and others. This is one of 2 shows that survived a terrible, tragic fire. I had given a set of these tapes to Stan, but when I called him a few years ago, he forgot what happened to them. This was an interview with Roy (The Boy) Thomas, then Editor-In-Chief of Marvel Comics. That same year, Big John Buscema taught his comic book illustration workshop, which I attended, and where Stan Lee came to visit our class. I videotaped Stan's presentation and that is how the STAN LEE'S SOAP BOX TV series was started.
