You know, we think because we are the chosen people, the people of the book, we think it’s sweet. Most so-called Black people get excited when we come into the knowledge that we are the people. I get it, I understand. But tremendous responsibility comes with that. Also endurance and pain. Coming into the knowledge that we are the descendants of those in the Bible who were punished and sent into captivity, should send a sense of fear and heartache. If that isn’t the first feeling then it could stand to reason that you’re not of Hebrew descent. Remember the story where King Solomon had to decide which woman was the real mother of a child? Without going into complete detail, it’s kinda like that.
