It was started in the year 2007, the Amazon Pay uses the consumer base of Amazon.com and focuses on providing the users with an option to pay with their Amazon accounts on external merchant websites. Currently, customers can opt to make their payments method by either choosing debit or credit card or through net banking or via Amazon Pay Balance.

At present , the services of Amazon Pay is available in India, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Cyprus, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Portugal, Luxembourg, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Amazon Pay provides an option for purchases to buy goods and services from web portals and mobile apps using the addresses and payment methods that are stored in the Amazon account which includes debit and credit cards.

Step 1 - Linking a bank account account

How to link a bank account to Amazon Pay?

Sign to your Amazon account and go to the Amazon Pay section

Go to AmazonpayUPI and tap on get started

Tap on proceed

There are 3 steps to adding a bank account
Selecting from the sim that you want to link to amazon pay .Note this should be the same number that is registered with the upi bank
Select from the upi bank ...once you select the upi bank , list of the available accounts with the amazon pay number is listed .You can select the one that you want to add or link
Set UPI pin ( in case it is already been set you need not set it again )


Making payments
1.) Scanning qr code and making payments
2.) Sending payments to upi ids
3.) Sending payments to phone


Paying bills
1.) Electricity bills
2.) Mobile bills
3.) DTH recharge
