Kevin Parr returns to Aldermaston Mill after a long break and reflects on the river and the fishing while chasing winter chub and perch, and wondering what the legacy of the river might be after all the years that have past. Despite those intervening years, the river, though far from what it used to be, is still capable of a surprise or two.
