BJP axes MLA T Raja for ‘insulting’ Prophet; Action after lawmaker's arrest in Hyderabad

After Nupur Sharma, now BJP suspends T Raja Singh over insult to the Prophet. Acting swifting amid massive protest & outrage over Raja's derogatory comments, the BJP has expelled the Telangana MLA from the party with immediate effect. The MLA has also been issued a show cause notice & has been asked to reply by September 2. The BJP said that Raja's views are contrary to the party's position which is why he has been expelled.
