In the ground, this tree is grown for shade. A fully grown tree has a rounded crown and can typically grow 20 to 40 feet tall, or 7 to 12 meters tall. And the maximum size of this tree can be up to 150 feet China berry is known by different names, in Punjabi it is called Dharek, besides Bed Tree, Pride of India, Cape Lilac, Prussian Lilac, Indian Lilac and Syringa Berry Tree are the names of the same tree. Its flowers are small and fragrant. The color of the fruit produced from it is yellow at first and after ripening it turns dark green and after drying it turns light brown. The fruit of this tree is not eaten, in childhood we used to play with its fruit.

The woody seeds inside its fruit are highly poisonous to humans, with only seven to eight seeds being fatal to a small child or animal. But these seeds are not harmful to birds. 

Such plants are rarely grown in pots. These are very slow growing plants. Chinaberry plants are grown from seeds. Seedling is done in spring. Seeds are sown two to three inches apart and one inch deep. And after three weeks the germination of the seeds starts...

This plant can be grown in any type of soil mix that is rich in organic matter and compost. Six months ago I planted it in a 12 inch pot. It will grow successfully in this soil for a year, after that the plant will need a large pot and a rich soil mix, so we will arrange a large pot and add as much fertilizer as needed. Will also use In the same way the plant will grow and we will increase the size of the pot.

Care should be taken to water Chinaberry plants in pots. They should be watered regularly. If you do not water for one to two days during very hot days, its leaves and branches will start to shrivel and the plant will be damaged. will Therefore, in hot days, provide them with a little shaded area and do regular watering, and in the same way, in cold days, give water only once or twice a week when the soil feels dry from above.

In the winter season these plants are in the dormancy period and lose their leaves. And as soon as spring begins, its leaves start their growth again. These plants grow rapidly between 15 and 38 degrees Celsius. Either in the ground or in pots, this plant should be grown in full sunlight.
