How to Add Featured Slider in WordPress using PostX

A featured slider is a wonderful option to display your posts or pages on a blog site. PostX featured slider takes advantage of the boxed style so it can be displayed on any WordPress page or post. The featured slider helps to promote the most important news, updates, or features interactively and explicitly.

** With the PostX plugin, you will get highly customizable post slider blocks. So, you don’t need to take any hassles of coding. To install the PostX plugin, go to the WordPress dashboard first, click on the plugin option and, search "PostX".

First of all, go to the page where you want to add the featured slider. Then from the plus icon select PostX post slider 01 blocks.

In the design tab, You will get some stunning pre-made designs. Moreover, you will get a carousel slider that displays multiple posts within a single frame.

You will again get some advanced options in the general settings tab. In the general settings, you will get a lot of useful options, such as you can control the number of slides, slide height, slide speed, etc.

Here, you will get every kind of useful option to customize featured sliders such as Query, Arrow, Heading, Content Wrap, Image, Dot, Meta, etc. You can also enable or disable every option.

In the query option, you can select your desired posts, pages, and other custom types if available. Here, You can also control the number of pages or posts as per your demand. In the taxonomy option, you can select the category or tag, or both of them together. Besides, You can easily show your latest posts, popular posts, most commented posts etcetera from the quick query option. Moreover, you can show different posts in different blocks by using the unique content group. In addition, the user can arrange the post order according to the title, date, comment count, meta value etcetera. You can also add the author's name as well. Last but not the least, the PostX query feature provides several options to exclude posts, exclude terms, etc.

In the arrow option, you will get different arrow styles. Also, you can customize the arrow size, position, color, etc.

Next, In the dot option, you can also configure the space, position, background color, etc.

Likewise, when you enable other elements, you will get every sort of customization option.

The good news is - PostX featured sliders can be used in both Gutenberg as well as Elementor, Oxygen, and Divi builders using PostX saved template addon.
