Just as 3dfx and Matrox once competed against ATi and NVIDIA, so too did 3DLabs. What began as an advanced graphics company in the 1980s would eventually ship a line of weak, value-oriented consumer cards, leading to a refocusing on professional products before leaving the graphics card market entirely. Their last card would be the dual-VPU Wildcat Realizm 800. So what happened?
