Fitting his personality, Miguel is a rushdown and offense-oriented character. His toolkit makes Miguel very intimidating in close range, with solid pokes and mixups that chip away at opponents' health and feature counter hit launchers that disincentivize opponents from trying to interrupt or launch counter offense. To make up for his incredible prowess in close range, Miguel struggles at mid and long distances. Most of his moves lack the range to keep opponents out, and his approach tools carry a decent amount of risk, opening him up for severe punishment.
