Love Shine a Light (Katrina and the Waves)

WSW 🎶 Next up in my Eurovision-themed #WendySingsWednesday videos we have one of my faves, 'Love Shine a Light' by Katrina and the Waves 😄 This song holds probably one of my strongest memories related to Eurovision: it was 1997 and I remember being at my granny's house in Aberdeen where we were watching Eurovision and all the score points coming through. Of course it was getting very late (definitely past my and my sister's bedtimes!) so we had to leave to drive the hour and 15 minutes it takes to get home. We listened to the rest of it on the radio in the car, excitement building up when GB got more and more points, and I remember being just ECSTATIC when they won. Such a lovely memory of when I was little, sharing that joy with my family in the car on the way home from my granny's 😊
