Largest bacteria is a single cell, wide as a fingernail

An elusive, single celled large bacterium measuring up to 2cm has been discovered in the French-territorial Carribean island of Guadalupe. ThePrint’s Sandhya Ramesh explains findings from this single cell that is now pushing the boundaries of how big we think bacteria should be.
