Sugar patients रात में क्या खाये | Diet for Sugar Patients in Hindi
In this video, Dr. Pragti Gupta discusses the diet for diabetic patients and why their food craving increases at night time.
Diabetic patients should eat dinner before 9 pm; if they eat late at night or sleep just after eating dinner, their metabolism may affect, their digestive system becomes poor, and some patients may see symptoms of constipation, loose motion, mal-absorption syndrome, etc. If you don’t want any of these diseases, you should eat dinner between 8 and 9 pm.
Patients who take insulin regularly and feel food cravings at night should check their sugar levels; if sugar levels are below 70mg/dl, you may see hypoglycemia symptoms such as sweating, shivering, etc. In these cases, eat an apple, dry fruits, seeds, or a mixture of all these items.
If sugar patients eat heavy foods at night, their sugar levels may hike, so that eat light dinner which is high in protein and fiber. Oats, quinoa, cereals, salads, and millet foods, can be eaten at dinner. In Salads, add some ginger & garlic paste which can help reduce gastric issues in diabetic patients.
Green leafy vegetables and lentils are good for diabetic patients but do not eat heavy lentils like chickpeas, beans, etc., and non-vegetarian people can consume eggs, roasted chicken, fish, etc. but do not eat non-veg items at night, eat only vegetarian foods at night time.
