His award-winning work has previously appeared in Coffee or Die Magazine, Leatherneck Magazine, Dirtbag Magazine, and a poetry collection In Love... & War: The Anthology of Poet Warriors. Before pursuing writing, Caltrider served in the United States Marine Corps.
