AU: (I should mention, none of the suggestions for Deku as Kenpachi had fleshed out AU's of any sorts, so I took what was on the comments and sort of altered it to my liking. Also Izuku was born with his father's jet-black hair)
In an alternate universe, Izuku Midoriya's life took a tumultuous turn from the very beginning. Born to Inko Midoriya and a father lost to the annals of time, Izuku's early years were marred by tragedy. His father's untimely demise shortly after his birth left Inko to raise him alone. Despite being deemed quirkless at the age of four, Izuku displayed astonishing physical prowess, prompting a return visit to the doctor for a second opinion.

Tragedy struck once again when, on their way back from the doctor, a brutal car accident claimed Inko's life, leaving Izuku an orphan. The young boy, severed from one of his closest friends, found refuge in the care of his paternal aunt, Rumi Usagiyama, also known as the Pro Hero Mirko. Juggling hero training and motherhood, Rumi did her best to provide Izuku with a stable upbringing, introducing him to the world of heroes.

As Izuku reached the age of 14, a fateful encounter altered the course of his destiny. While en route to meet his aunt, he witnessed a young woman being assaulted by a gang of criminals. Without hesitation, he intervened, but the confrontation resulted in grave injuries. After enduring days in a coma, Izuku tragically succumbed to his wounds, leaving behind a grieving Aunt Mirko and a circle of friends.

The mourning extended beyond his immediate connections, drawing attendees from prominent families like the Todoroki's and Bakugo's, as well as several UA staff and top pro heroes. However, death was not the end for Izuku Midoriya. Reborn in a realm of forgotten souls, he navigated a memory-less existence, choosing the surname "Zaraki" from the district he once called home.

District 80 of the North Alley of Rukongai, known for its lawlessness and danger, became Izuku's new stomping ground. In a twist of fate, he stumbled upon the lifeless body of a Shinigami, seizing the opportunity to claim the fallen warrior's Asauchi. Izuku imprinted his soul upon the blade, forging his own Zanpakutō. Thus began the journey of Zaraki Kenpachi, mirroring the canonical storyline of Bleach.
