After being blown away by the Kawai SX-240, I looked around my studio to see what else could get even remotely close (that SX-240 was not mine). The JX-3p seemed similar in some ways. Simple, 2-osc DCO synth. Alas, it is very different. Although, it's not too bad either, since it can do a lot of things the SX couldn't do. But it couldn't do that 'high resonance but sweet' sound in the same way. Both are character synths. Just different.
