Speaking from left to right - Dennis Parker Jr., Coach Ty White and Damon 'Redd' Thompson following John Marshall's 82-43 rout of Radford in the VHSL Class 2 State Basketball Championship held at VCU in Richmond on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Parker had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds while connecting on 6-of-8 three-pointers.

Thompson, in his first varsity season, had 17 points and seven assists with no turnovers in the title game. He was 5-of-6 from behind the three-point line.

Coach White now has four state titles in the past nine seasons for the Justices, who have won a pair of those State Championships at the Class 3 level.
