Video of my recently Cleaned and serviced 1984 Ridgeway Grandfather clock.
Bought this at an estate auction and it did not work. The pendulum could be started but would just stop soon after.
Took the movement out of the clock and completely clean and oil all pivot points. Luckily all pivot points look good, but the clock was just dirty and pivot points had built up crud. Clean and oil everything and slowly everything came back to life. Now the clock run and sounds great.
