2023 WPIH Skills Development Camp - Players | PARA SPORT

Bangkok welcomed athletes from four nations from 28 to 30 July at the 2023 WPIH Skills Development Camp presented by Citi!
Over 30 female and male athletes, coaches and managers worked together with coaches Emma Poynton of Australia and Espen Hegde of Norway to build a support system and athlete development pipeline for the sport in the Asia and Oceania regions.

PARA SPORT is a brand created to strengthen the Paralympic Movement at all levels by providing tools and resources to foster grassroots participation. Through it we aim to educate and empower Para athletes, while developing pathways for Para athletes to compete at all levels through to the Paralympic Games. By increasing participation in terms of athletes and countries, as well as growing the depth of talent that exists across all Para sports, the result will be a far stronger, more diverse, and impactful Movement. This in turn will lead to a greater transformational impact on driving social inclusion in society and empowering the lives of the world’s 1.2 billion persons with disabilities.
