This glass house design was developed by repurposing a pre-existing stone masonry structure on the site, which was originally used for cultivating orchids. The arrangement of the floor plan was determined by the existing stone walls, which created a lowered courtyard. This courtyard seamlessly extends the living room, with glass sliding doors that can be opened to fully integrate the internal and external spaces. The courtyard is bordered on two sides by the building, on one side by a concrete bench and a concrete retaining wall, and on the other side by a reflecting pool.

For the construction on this glass house design of the first floor, a slender steel framework was selected and positioned within a cluster of mature trees, specifically almond and cedar trees, that have enveloped the pre-existing stone masonry structure. This new building is situated precisely within the boundaries of the original structure, utilizing the vacant space amidst the existing trees. This natural arrangement acts as a filter for sunlight, effectively controlling the brightness and internal temperature of the building.

The ground level features glass walls on this house design with sliding doors, facilitating ample cross-ventilation for enhanced environmental comfort. The transparent façades establish a stronger bond between the occupants and the nearby plant and animal life, including sagui monkeys and various bird species. On three sides, the living room on the ground level is enveloped by lush vegetation.

The staircase links the first floor and the roof to the ground floor, providing a vantage point to view Brasília's city plan and the Monumental Axis. In addition to preserving the stone masonry in its original form with minimal alterations, the building incorporates a steel framework and glass exteriors. The materials featured within the structure consist of granite flooring on the ground level and ipê wood flooring on the first floor. The ceiling, countertop, and kitchen finishes are all crafted from kumarú wood.
