Looking to Dive Deeper? - Let's dive into The Word

Humble Rest, Jesus we come to you this evening for a deep rest, a deep recovery and to just be in your humility. Jesus, teach us new ways that we can be humble, show us new ways in our dreams, reach out to us in our day to day and teach our flesh to weaken and our Spirits to strengthen in you. Jesus, thank you for the grace and the humility that you have given me, and teach me to lean further into this set of emotions and even further my understanding as I learn to surrender more fully into you. Amen Jesus!

• Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Jesus promises rest to those who come to Him in humility. By taking His yoke, we learn to live in gentleness and find true rest in His presence.

• Philippians 2:3-4: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
This passage teaches us that true humility involves valuing others above ourselves, creating a community of love and support.

• 1 Peter 5:6-7: "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
When we humble ourselves under God’s hand, we trust Him to elevate us in His timing. He cares for us deeply and invites us to lay all our worries upon Him.
