If you enjoy my work, please take a moment to buy me a coffee: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Suppo... All money goes to funding my videos, recordings, websites, research, strings etc. - Blog: https://typehead.net I feel I'm finally getting clear of the after-effects of Covid-19, though it can still lay me low at times, most days, so it is great to be able to play an entire suite for cello by Bach on the guitar. The last Bach suite I did was on the ukulele, which is much easier to play. By using Aquila-Corde's Low A strings (ADGCEA - bass to treble) I feel the weight of notes does justice to Bach's writing, without the need to add an accompanying bass line. 99% of what you hear is as written by Bach for the cello. So, thanks to all the encouraging comments I've received from many of you, they do help. I look quite sombre here, I think, but that's just me trying to focus like crazy on the score, following a conversation Bach once had with himself, now with us. He has a lot of beautiful things to say! I'm only sorry my technique is not up to the demands of the music, but I think and hope you get the gist of it.
