Planned Pooling in the Round: The Twisted Wrap

Описание к видео Planned Pooling in the Round: The Twisted Wrap

This project is similar to my Twisted Neck Wrap which is one of my earliest videos. We are just going to make it bigger so that it will wrap around your shoulders, but I am leveling up my own skills, and yours too if you like, by adding planned pooling in the round. There are a couple of ways that you can achieve that pooling effect while working in the round with variegated yarn and in this video, we explore two options. Below you will find all the links that I promised.

I have found that it is possible to pool with most machine dyed yarns with variegated color ways. However, if you prefer to take the guess work out of it and start with a known poolable yarn, I have a list with pictures and links for where to buy them on my blog.

You can make this without the color pooling if you like. For a more concise option, try the original Twisted Neck Wrap video. You'll just need to make it wider to drape around your shoulders and taller you can wear it as a hood.
